In the beginning Lucian was nothing more than the leader of the lycan slaves in castle Corvinus. But even then his love burned for Sonja. When the vampire representives left the safety of the castle to attend Victors awakening and Markus’s slumber the group had to stop at an outpost to rest. As soon as they entered the outpost the Lycans picked up the scent of garlic, but to son, the gate slammed shut and the band of hunters from the near by village jumped out to attack.
" Look out, " cried one of he vampire guards.
The vampire drew swords and ready for battle. But the mortal horde proved too many. They managed to kill half the Lycans with ease and vampires were dropping. As soon as Lucian saw Sonja was ok he rushed by her side but wasn’t fast enough. Humans threw her of her horse but something hit the few away. It was Sonja’s mother and victors wife, lady ilona, she fought brave and hard but the humans grabbed her, threw her to the floor, and with the swing of an axe, her head rolled away. Sonja stared shocked at her mother’s body, blood of her mother slowly flowing by Sonja’s dress soaking it with blood and mud. The humans noticed Sonja and rushed to attack her.
" GET AWAY FROM HER YOU HUMAN SCUM " shouted a furious Lucian, and he jumped overhead and quickly made work of the humans.
All of a sudden the yell of the vampires caught his attention. To his horror, the sun was rising; any more and Sonja would be toast, literally. Quickly looking around the saw the long roll of tapestry that was a gift for victor. Using his speed he grabbed it and rushed over to lady Sonja.
" Milady please lay down in this " said Lucian
A bit startled at the request she quickly came to her senses and lay down. Lucian quickly rolled her up hoping to protect her from the sun for even just a while. He rushed with the lady in his arms and jumped over the wall followed by a volley of arrows but he landed on his feet and ran for cover. He didn’t care where he could find shelter as long as it was out of the sun. Behind him he heard the call of angry villages behind them.
" The wolf man, he fled that way, after him "
"Crap" thought Lucian under no chances would he let them get hold of the lady that her held to the chest. This could be the last time she would be this close t him.
The sun quickly started to take over them and from the tapestry he heard whimpers and small cries of pain.
" Lucian, the sun"
" Do no fear milady I can see a ruined building we can take shelter in until the night has come "
After running in the building the sun was covering there whole line of sight, Lucian saw a stair case to hide in. in less than a second he was down there and put the lady down. Using his head he started to head up the stairs but was stopped when he heard.
" Are you leaving me here? " asked the lady Sonja. Who was rolling out the tapestry, her hair as silky and beautiful as ever?
" No my lady I shall be back but I must draw the hunters away from here, I will double back here soon. "
With that he left up the stairs and out the church. It did not take long for the hunters to find him.
" crap " cried Lucian.
" there goes the wolf man, I want his head on a pike by stroke of mid-day " cried a man from the back.
Lucian ran of at a human rate of speed so the humans didn’t loose site of him to quickly. The farmers and villagers had added silver to there battle plan and were firing silver headed arrows right at him.
" AHHHH frik “ to his surprise they had caught him in the side and ribs. He smashed them out but the silver was deeper at refused to come out. After about an hour he got back to the church and found the lady was not there.
" Crap " said Lucian under his breath " milady?! Where are you. "
" I am here Lucian " Sonja was heading towards him from deeper under ground her bloodstained robes came into view of Lucian’s blurry eyes. the silver was taking its tool " Lucian? are you all right? "
" Do not concern yourself with my wounds milady "
" Lucian you are wounded badly "
" It will heal soon "
" not with that silver in there, I must get it out "
before he could protest any longer she grabbed him and laid him on the ground. Then she tore his shirt around the wound so she could see.
" it is in deep, I need something sharp to get it " before she could look around Lucian drew a fine steel dagger with a wolfs head handle and fine diamonds on the handles edge. " where did you get this?! "
" It was the only thing I have ever received from my father or mother " uttered Lucian " will it be good enough " Sonja nodded and began to pull he silver out. Lucian yelled in pain as the silver moved. Sonja didn’t react at all, she new the pain he must have been going through, it was like the sun to vampires.
" there " she said as the second salve head hit the ground. " all done, but the skin is infected with silver.
" that WILL heal in a few months "
" that will not do, I will clean the wound "
" there is nothing we can do with what we have...... " before he could finish Sonja had put her lips to his wound and started to suck out the blood, but she dared not swallow the blood for it would be fatal, all she did was spit it out and take another mouth full of blood and when she was finish she did the same to the second wound. " it is clean "
" many thanks milady i am in your debt "
" you are in no such thing, if it was not for you I would be joining my mother at this moment " with the mention of her mother Sonja burst into tears and flu around Lucian crying into his shoulder before drifting into a sleep. Lucian convinced himself to stay awake to watch the door and after 4 hours of guard he fell asleep so that his injuries could heal. He woke up by a sudden surge of power going through him. Lucian jolted up to see Sonja sitting on a rock watching the stairs.
" ohh, your awake, the sun has set. We must leave for my fathers awakening "
Lucian still didn’t understand this power surge " ofcorse milady "
" please Lucian, call me Sonja "
Lucian’s jaw dropped about 3 meters, he of all people had been told he called address a vampire by their name
" I could not, I am far less important to be address a grand vampiress by their name "

Lucian eyes snapped open, and Sonja released this and looked at him oddly " Lucian?....."
It had struck him, it was the full moon, all this power was because of what was about to happen to him, he was going to change into the one thing a vampire feared to face in combat......a full blooded lycan beast.
At this Lucian ran for the stairs and into the graveyard, Sonja not far behind " Lucian!!! you do not have to hide what you are from me "
Lucian stopped about 30 meters from Sonja, hair growing all over, eyes turning blood red and jaw bone extending, in battle this would be the last thing a human saw, his hair turned from yet black to a light brown. When the transformation was complete he didn’t not what to return to Sonja, not like this, but he heard her come beside him. " Lucian, do not hide what you are from me, do not think you are the first lycan I have seen before. And now we can arrive much sooner to the castle." this reaction please Lucian, h was no longer ashamed of what he was to show. And he picked up Sonja and they ran through the woods like a bullet from a gun.
It was nearing daybreak when they arrived. And two lycan guards were standing guard at the gate. The first guard, craven saw the lycan approach and he shot at him with a silver headed arrow, it missed by a fraction and before e he could fire again Sonja stepped in the way
" STOP!!!!! " she shouted angrily
" Who are you who dares approach? " asked craven
" I am lady Sonja, daughter of Viktor, I do believe the awakening is in 2 days time."
" Lady Sonja.....!!!!!! Please forgive me milady I didn’t recognize you’re then turned to the vampires on the walls " OPEN THE GATES AND SEND FOR MARCUS" at the command the gates to the walls opened up and the guards with Sonja and Lucian. As they entered the great castle Lucian’s eyes widened as the paintings and art surrounded him, it was magnificent. As they went further in the moon vanished from view and Lucian changed back-he or none of the vampires cared that his clothes had torn apart darning the change-as they approached the stairs a vampire quickly climbed down the stairs. It was the elder marcus.
" sonja, i was told of the attack, i did not think you survived the assult. I give my great sorrow to hear of your mother." he quickly spotted lucian. " who is this lycan?! "
" lord marcus, this lycan saved me from the hunters " replyed sonja
" i see, do you hav anything to say about the attack? "
" i do my lord, the attackers came from a villages called cavenhall, they are lead by a monk at the curch called ' brother ambrose '. he has lead attacks on vampires keeps all year "
Sonja was looking at lucian in amazment and anger.
" are you sure lycan? " said marcus, he nodded " good work lycan. rigal!!!! "
a tall muscular vampire appeared by his side
" take the lycan to get new garments then some food....."
" then please take him to my chambers " interupted sonja " there was a gift from my mother for your help of saving her life during the hurt 10 days ago"
" very well " sad marcus " leave us "
as lucian left a younger vampire with short blond hair and dark blue eyes appeared, he was dressed in red robes of fine silk and with him was a human who looked like she could drop down and die at any time, he had been feeding on her.
" what is going on down here? " he asked
" ahhh nicolas, my son, this is sonja, viktors daughter and your bride to be "
Lucian and sonja both froze, lucian couldn’t believe what was happening here, he slowly turned around ad looked at the curly haired blonde vampire.
he does not deserve her!!!!! he preferes human females.
sonja was just as angry as lucian " when was this decided !? "
marcus replyed blankly " your father is awake the cermony was done aday early becasue of recent events "
" How?! you thought i was dead "
" we didnt no at the time, and since no body was found we thought thee was a chance of your survival. "
Sonja stormed of in the other direction towards her chambers. and lucian followed the vampire escort the the lycan rooms, while lucian was resting thinking of what just happened there was a knock at his door. he didnt do anything. then another kock. he sighed " ENTER " the door opened and a small lycan boy walked in, when he saw him he rose from his bed. " Ohh, welcome child, who are who and why do you wish to see me?"
the small boy who looked about 12 or 13 looked at lucian nervously and replyed " my name is jack, and i have a message for you from the lady sonja "
lucian’s eyes jumped to the boys hands where he held a note tied with a yellow ribbion. " thank you jack, please han me the note and you may be on your way, your help will not go unrewarded " lucian headed to his shel and pulled down a small bag and from it he pulled out a small hand ful of coins. he apprched jack who held out the note. " thank you my lad. and now for my thanks. " he took the note and handed jack 8 golded coins which he took with a smile on his face and he swiftly left the room with coins in hand.
just before lucian could read what had been sent and there was yet another knock on the door. he swiftly hid te note under his pillow. " enter " through the door came a female lycan with a woolen coat on and with long brown hair who was quite slim and she eyed lucian seuductivly
" hello again lucian "
he groaned at this " what do YOU want leyba "
she mearly replyed, i just wanted to know if you cared to slip away into the shadows and get to know what has happened and to celebrate in our own little way " she sat next to lucian and kissed his neck, but lucian got up " enough, what we had was nothing but animalism " leyba lay down on the bed and before she said anything she noticed a glint of yellow ribbion under the pillow, she lifted the pillow while his back was turned and read the note, gasped and took the ribbon " you dont no what your missing !!!! " and she stormed of angrily.
with her gone lucian grabbed the note and took no notice of the ribbon and he read
dear lucian,
I wish to meet you soon, please meet me in the church at the back of the castle at midday
sonja.
lucian shoved the note in his pocket and ran for he church with only 5 minutes to spare. after that time the door opened. she was here.
" thank you for coming freind "
" what do you need milady "
" i told you to call me sonja "
" very well....sonja "
" you head what m father has planned, you saw what i am to call my husband for the next......" tears again ran down her face and she embraced lucian crying into his shoulder holding on for dear life and lucian didnt no what to do, he put his arms round her trying to settl her down, after time it hit him the form against his body, her body around him unleashed his emotions like the lycan with in. With this he slowly kissed her neck. A gasp came from sonja and realising what hed done he tore himself away from her, what would he see in her eyes? fear? anger?
but a pair of cool brown eyes rested on him "...lucian?"
the words ran through him before he could think " I love you milady, i have for so long now "
and she looked at him and said. " and i as well my dearest freind lucian. "
with this he kised her ruby lips which opned invitedly. honey and coriander sweetened her breath. passion came over them both, they tugged on each others garments, until lustrous silk and corse brown woll mingled together on the floor of the chapel, forming a bed of sorts upon which thy eagerly explored each others bodies. lucian peeled one last linen shift from her head and shoulders and took a moment to savor her naked beauty in all its splendor. her ivory skin was clear an unblemished. flaxen hair spread out beneath her head like a golden halo. his hands found her brests, and he kissed her deeply, reveling in the sensation of touching her inside and out.
they new what they wer doing was forbidden but for lucian he would gladly trade everything and anything for this moment to last for ever more.
there in the old church they made love. he took her gently, face to face, not roughly in the lycan way. her delicated fangs teased his flesh. never breaking the skin. in the end as their bodies attained the peak of ecstasy, two pair of eyes glowed in the dark.
the bell rang five time signalliny the end day was soon. " i must go! " she said gathering her garments and redressing, lucian did the same. as she was about to leave they embrased again and kissed passionetly and all of a sudden the door burst open and viktor walked in, anger burning on his face, he was not alone, marcus and his son, a group of vampires and leyba was along with them
luican looked at her with anger and would have killed her on site if there were no vampires at the post.
" daughter, what has happened here tonight has btrayed the covernant and the whole bloodines, and you must be judged!!!! "
with this the deathdealers rushed forward and knocked them both out. it was mid afternoon when lucin woke, lycans were all around in silver covered cages to stop an sort of escape, victor was standing with two death dealers anger on his face.
" daughter, life has been implanted in your womb and it must be destroyed, and the only way is to destroy the carrier "
victor and the vampires left the room, all but 1 who went to a lever on the wall. lucian went to attack him but he was chanind to the ground and sonja was tied to a post in the center of the room. as the lever was puler a pannel on the roof opened exposing the sun into the room, onto his love, sonja, she screamed in pain as the sun took its toll and burned her and she urne into an ash figure of a woman. sonja the love of his lafe had been killed by her own father for having love for lucian.
" SSSSSSSOOOOOOOONNNNNJJJJJJJAAAAAA "
the door flug open and a vampire with silver wips stepped up and began to lash at lucian, the lycan shouted in anger and sorrow, but they could do nothing. when night came viktor came in, sword in hand and started to speak, but lucian wasnt listening, somthing was wrong, he felt strange, powerful. the pannel was still open and the full moon shone into the room. this time lucian didnt try and stop the change, he welcomed it. when viktor had relised his mistake it was to late. th chains had broken and lucian was standing infrount of him. he lashed at viktor who was flung into the cage bars and was met by a dozen hairy arms. they had all changed and were breaking out. lucian knew they couldnt win against th vampires so they had 1 option.....run.he saw a window and made a run for it followed by 40 lycans who ran into the night. that night he swour revenge on viktor.
after 5 nights the vampires gave up the search. and the lycan met.
" we should take the castle by force "
" no thats stupid we should kill them when they hunt "
" are YOU crazy do you no how much silver they have?! ! “
" SHUT UP " lucian interupted. " there all crazy ideas, we must take there silver mines by force to cut them off " the lycan nodded in agree ment, it was decided in 3 days they would attack at dawn to rule out vampire interferance.
the lycan approched quitly and quickly to the mine. it was protected by a small wooden wall which they could jump with ease
lucian signaled to the captins to move in, the lycans charged, swords and bows rasied the slaughtered all human slaves and fested apoun there flesh, lucian wasnt going to decide to rid them of a chance for fresh meat. and the mine wastaken with ease. the lycans would stay there for the time being, news of the attack reached vampire ears quickly and viktor grew even angryer. he decided to gather the death dealers and attack in force. that very night lucian heard the sould of horse charges.
" BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THE VAMPIRES ARE COMING, PREPARE FOR BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!! "
at this the lycans started to grab weapons and were ready.......most of them, around half of the lycans paniced and started to flee. and horses crashed over the fence and attacked the fleeing lycans................it had begun
the lycans who were ready charged in order of swords first then spears, the horses were slain quickly but the vampires wouldnt go down without a fight. the vampires drew swords and met them head on, th lycans didnt stand a chance, there were outmaned and skilled, but the faught bravely and valliantly. wen the fighting neared an end the battel was the vampires for sure. so lucian sginalled to flee the battle feild. lucian ran for one on the tunnels the had found incase of this and when he was near the end he smelt warm lycan blood, there was a vampire here.
it was nicolae, marcus's son, he had slain 3 of the fleeing lycans.
" well, it seems as if the grate lycan leader is running away. viktor wanted to kill you himself but i dont think he'll mind that much if i kill you first."
" stand aside, i will not be undone by the likes of you"
" arrogant pup" the bellowed at him. " see how the pure blood fight! "
as the fight began lucian was out mached every blowed he threw was blocked and counered with ease.
" is that the best you have? no wonder you were ment to serve drinks, your good for nothing else "
" better than being a blood sucking parasite, sonja was the only one of you with a beating heart! "
" i will end it now " he cried " he lunged at lucian with his silver blade, it hit the lycan inbetween the ribs and sent him to the floor in pain. " before you die, answer me this, was sonja as knowlegeable in bed as she was in art and philosophy, pitty i never found out."
at this lucian expolded in rage, something was happeneing to him, his rager was growing, even in this dark black cave with no signs of life or light, he could see his enermy clearly, he vowed this fight for sonja, and he felt his body being molded into a new shape, and his arms an legs. he was changeing!!! but how? the moon isnt out and hes in the caves. but he didnt care. he welcomed this upperhand and he stood up and faced his enermy who had just realised what happened to him, before he could speak he was thrown into the wall by lucian and slashed with his claws until the blow was struck, lucian punched him in the head with his claws out, his fingers were inbeded in his head and nicolea was screaing in pain until he fell dead.
lucian ran out of the caves but never forgot his promise to avenge sonjas death. around his neck was the one thing that he kept of sonjas on that night he loved her, her golden amulet which he would never let fall into victors hands. when he got into the orest he found a small band of lycans who were standing. blood stained and ready for what ever they would do next.
The pieces were in place, sides were set, war had begun for the lycans. and lucian would not stop till viktor had been slayen.
The year 2005to war, the samethe sides, the sameto reason, the samea strech limo pulled up in an ally way and to men got out, the first, raise was black with a bald head but could take down a tree if he wanted to. The second a smaller man who was always edgey, his short black hair flattened by the pouring rain.after 6 minutes a second limo pulled up, To men got out, the first was tall with longer brown hair and a jacket which fell to his knees, the second was a asian man with sunglasses short blonde hair and in his hands to uzies. a third man got out of the second limo, with combed black hair and a annoyed look on his face, craven, the vampire who was standing gaurd those many years ago. He entered the first limo and on the other side was a man with long, unkept brown hair around his neck was a glod chain with a round golden pendant and a blood red jewl in the center. His name, lucian." this had better be good lucian, the awakening of marcus is close at hand. i need to be at the mansion wiht my guests, ammileas convoy will arive soon. "" its ok Kraven, i just wanted to say, you need the death dealers to keep on my men in the center of the city, im doing a little job "" you were supposed to lay low, 500 years ago the battle at your castle made every vampire think you were dead, if your seen my cover will be blown, im this close to compleat contorol of the vampire houses in the city i can almost taste it. "" LISTEN, iv bled for you once, im going to do this and if you want your little death dealers to live, id lay of the city for a while! "" fine, but do nothing stupid, you no how obsessive some of the vampires are. "with that kraven got out of the car and returned to his own. the cars headed off in opposite directions back to the land not to speak until called out again.the next dayThree death dealers were watching from a church as two lycans were heading down the street, the vampires, selene-the leader of the team of three.athaneall-expert shooter and he was to take pictures of the lycans stranger actions.regal-the back-up member incase of a fire fight.the lycans headed down into the subway and the two death dealers jumped out of the bell tower and landed perfectly on the feet. The vampires swifty followed the lycans with regal at the subway stairs just in case. The lycans were heading rather fast knocking humans out of there way, as if to say that they were chasing someone. All of a sudden the first lycan stopped, he looked left and right then behinde him. It was raise, one of lucians strongest lycans. He looked behind him only to see athaneall walking smoothly closer from about 10 meters away. He could tell in an instant what he was."BUTCH!!!!!" he yelled at his lycan partner while pulling out a pair of uzies. butch turned around in an instant with a glock 27 drawn. They fired on the vampires who reacted quickly, but for ethaneall not quick enough. he was hit twice in the shoulder which should be nothing but the werent use ordanary bullets. he started to squirm in pain on the floor and it was like a light was shining from the inside as he started to burn.selean saw his partner and freind on the ground and she reacted by pulling out a pair of bereattas loaded with silver rounds, and she fired on them which caused them to duck inside the train. regal had now joined the fight with his machine gun firing at butch while selean was on raise. during the fight a woman was shot on the shoulder, and a human with long blonde hair ran out to assist her, butc hsaw that and he ran at the human male who was helping her. he grabbed the man but was suddenly shout in the shoulder by selene, at this he ran on the train and to the other side and out the door and tried to escape but selean was following in the train to the other side. butch ran ou from the train down the track and selean was a momment later who threw herself out the window and landed on her feet and followed.raise was now annoyed with this and he new he had to get out, the ran down the train the same way as selean had but regal was following closely, befor raise could jump out regals vampire speed caught him he threw them both out the door. they landed and got up to face each other. raise got up and threw the jacket off so all the wore was his jeans and shoes and he started to change into the lycan form inside him-at this point in time, many lycans could now change a will with out the help of the moon- regal looked at him and his eyes turned from green to a sky blue which showed he was becoming more strong and fast. the two headed of in a thrash of teeth, claws and kick but the winner was with out a doubt raise.selean had followed the fleeing lycan for a few miles now but found a tunnel which he ran through to try and trick her, the stupid mistake was thesilver bullet which he had pulled out to stop the burning. selean followed his blood trail to a small man hole which she jumped down and look in all directions but found nothing, but she all of a sudder duck when she head a single foot step and shot down the lycan who wasnt ffast enough to fire back. she went to the body and took his gun, ejected the mag to find instead of normal ammo, ammo with a glass head and a glowing liquid. Her consentration was broke at the sound of a lycans foot steps. The full lycan jumped down only to be met by 4 silver throws stars the size of tea cup plates. and selean ran off while the lycan tried to rip them out. when she was out of the tunnel she headed to her jag which was parked by the church and she headed of with her berettas empty, her team gone, but the lycan gun with ammo of the lycan.when she entered she immediatly waled through the halls to the leader of the death dealers, karn. she walked hin his room while he was cleaning his gun. slammed down on the table with the gun and said quite urgently" we have a serious problem "Kraven was walking down the hall with his gaurds when he heard the news of her return. he walked in while the ammo round were being checked out. " it seems to be some sort of chemical, deffinantly some iradiated fluid " said karn" untreviloet ammunition " said selean impationtly" daylight harnest as a weapon "" This is stupid " interupted Kraven " you expect me to beleave that these dogs got this "" nah, i bet it something they stole, milatrey, summit high tech " said karn" i dont care where thy got these from, my team is dead " said selean " we should gather more death dealers and find out why these lycans have been in that tunnel. i found evidence of recent lycan activity there, about 5 different lycan tracks."" why would the lycans be so close to the death dealers haven? " said kraven impatciently, but by seleans look on her face, if he wanted his cover not to be found out by her hed better send some of the vampires working with him." fine....Get sawnas team together and....""no i want to lead the team myself" interupted selean"absolutly not, ammileas convoy will be here soon and i need you here, and there hasnt been a den like that in centuries""victor would beleave me" and with that she stormed off to be alone with her thoughts. after she left the vampiress erika stepped up to Kraven and said" i would never dream of treating you like that""of corse you wouldnt no make sure shes dressed for the acation."while erika was searching for a dress for selean, she was on the computer looking at the pictures her old freind took at the subway only to realise that they had been following the human that the lycan butch had grabbed while helping the woman." they were after you "" who? " asked erika and she came over to have alook at the photo." hes attractive, for a human "" whos attractive? " asked a voice from the door, it was kraven who had come to check in the hold up. at his question erika left the room rather quickly to leave them alone." you no i wanted you at my side tonight""take erika shes dieing to be at your side""i didnt want erika i w....""do you see this human"kraven sighed "what of him""its just a faught but i think they were followed him""why would the lycans track a human!!!" and he stormed of aswell.in the old subway where the body of butch lay a shadow appeared in the dark. it was raise, wtill with the stars in him, he picked up he body of the companion and took him away. he walked through the abbandoned tunnels to where more lycans were resting and faces appeared from the tunnels paths.in a small lab a human lay bound and gagged while a lycan took a blood sample and took it into the the lab and mixed it with a chemical and lucian barged in " any progress " he asked" lets find out " the lycan mixed it with the chemical and it turned black. the man looked up and said ".......negative."" i really must have alook at this michel " before anything else could be said raise came in with butch in his arms and he dumped him on the table."what happened" asked lucian" we were ambushed, death dealers, 3 of them"" and the human?" asked lucian" we lost him "" you lost him..."suddenly the docter interupted " lets get these out", signaling to the stars inbedded in raises chest.
